Japan’s Mitsuba Corporation is to build a new plant in the Philippines
to manufacture pressed and moulded parts from next March, AutoAsia Online reported.
The company expects to invest 700 million yen ($US5.8 million).

The website said that Mitsuba’s existing factory, run by a local subsidiary,
makes wipers, wiper motors and horns and is nearing maximum capacity, prompting
the expansion.
