Kongsberg Automotive says it has received an award from a major European OEM for the supply of a shift tower system.
The shift tower is part of the gear shift linkage between the driver and the gearbox and will be used in B-Segment cars, sold in South America.

The contract has a total value of EUR37m over five years with possible extension. Production supply will start in the second half of 2015 out of our facility in Jundiai in Brazil.
