Nippon Sheet Glass says Jörg Raupach Sumiya has been nominated to join the company’s board as new external director, effective 27 June, 2019.
The nomination is slated for approval at the 153rd Ordinary General Meeting of Shareholders on 27 June.

Following shareholder approval, the number of independent external directors would increase to five, forming the majority of the board with a total of nine members.
Nippon Sheet Glass is one of the world’s largest manufacturers of glass and glazing products for the architectural, automotive and technical glass sectors.
