NewMotion and BMW are to partner on home charging solutions and services for their customers in Germany.
With the collaboration, both companies are working to accelerate e-mobility adoption in Germany and enable their customers to benefit from the recently announced subsidy of EUR900 (US$1,070) for private charge points.

When buying or leasing an electric vehicle or plug-in hybrid, BMW and Mini customers will be able to purchase a smart charge point from NewMotion, which includes installation and after-care as well as customer support.
The purchase and installation of smart charge points is subsidised by the German government with EUR900, if the customer uses green power supply for charging, for example, from Shell Energy, which is also part of the offer with BMW.
NewMotion also offers services to existing BMW and Mini customers. EV drivers who have purchased an electric vehicle in the past and want a smart home charge point or a BMW charging product, can also use NewMotion for complete installation and service.
