Mahindra and Mahindra (M&M) is to launch SUVs from its South Korean unit SsangYong in India.
“The Rexton will be available in India soon while the Korando will be launched later on,” Pawan Goenka, president of M&M’s automotive and farm equipment sector, told just-auto at Auto Expo 2012 in New Delhi.

Asked about Rexton launch timing, Goenka said: “…the second half of 2012.”
The SUV will be imported CKD and assembled locally.
“We have not decided any timeframe for the Korando launch,” Goenka added.
M&M is showing a range of SsangYong range of vehicles at the expo, including Actyon Sports and XIV-1 concepts.
