Mytex provides engineered polyolefins and long glass fibre polypropylene used in a wide array of goods for customers across the globe. Headquartered in Jeffersonville, Indiana, Mytex chose to expand in Georgia to support increasing customer demand for long glass fibre polypropylene products.
With warehousing and distribution locations in the City of Covington, the company will continue its expansion by constructing a new production line in an existing 140,000 square-foot space.
The Georgia Department of Economic Development (GDEcD) was represented in the project by the Global Commerce division’s Senior project manager, Kristen Miller in partnership with the Newton County Industrial Development Authority.
