Sales are expected to begin in October at prices starting from RUB689,000, Ovenden added. The company also plans to start producing the redesigned Focus model in 2011.
The Ford plant is in Vsevolozhsk in the Leningrad Region. It started with the Focus and later added the Mondeo.
