The vehicle will be assembled by the automaker’s local sales and production partner, China Motor Corporation (CMC), at its Yangmei plant in Taoyuan City. Mitsubishi pointed out that the Xforce is its first newly developed, locally produced model to be introduced in Taiwan in nine years.
Mitsubishi confirmed that the Xforce meets Taiwan’s Euro 6c emissions standards and comes with a Level-2 equivalent advanced driver assistance system (ADAS) with Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) and Lane Keep Assist (LKA). It is offered with a blue body colour developed specifically for the Taiwanese market and the interior features a 10.25-inch digital display.
Tatsuo Nakamura, executive vice president of Mitsubishi Motors, confirmed: “We have developed a special version of the Xforce for the Taiwanese market, where we have worked alongside CMC for more than 60 years, to further strengthen our presence and enhance product value. After careful local research, we have created a model with greater value that we proudly stand behind. Reservations have already exceeded our initial projections, and we are truly excited to deliver this model to our customers in Taiwan.”
