Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corporation (MMPC), the sales and manufacturing subsidiary of Mitsubishi Motors Corporation (MMC) has signed a memorandum of understanding with its five dealers to roll out a next generation showroom called Dendo Drive Station, in the market.
In addition to the usual showroom functions such as new vehicle sales and aftersales services, the new outlet features a solar power system and vehicle to home (V2H) equipment.
This allows EV/PHEV charging at the showroom as well the supply of electricity from EVs/PHEVs back to the showrooms.

MMC opened the first Dendo Drive Station in Tokyo in 2016 and has since opened another 79 throughout Japan.
The first in the Philippines should be in operation by the end of 2020.
"Similar to Japan, the Philippines is a country with many natural disasters," said Osamu Masuko, MMC's chairman of the board, at a recent dealer conference held today.
"I believe this [showroom] will contribute to enhancing society resilience and local economic development."
MMC will launch its Outlander PHEV SUV in the Philippines this year and said rolling out the Dendo Drive Station would "promote understanding of EVs/PHEVs so they would be widely used".
