Mitsubishi Motors Corporation (MMC) is establishing a full sales and marketing organisation in Europe, expanding its current aftersales, parts and logistic business in the region.
The new operation will be divided between two locations in The Netherlands: Amstelveen, near Amsterdam, for the president & CEO office plus the strengthened sales & marketing function, legal and PR activities, and Born, near Maastricht, once home to a Mitsubishi assembly plant (now in other hands building BMW’s Minis under contract) where the 55,000 sq m European Part Centre is located, for aftersales, finance & controlling, personnel and IT operations.

Headed by president and CEO Bernard Loire, a new management team includes sales director Frank Krol, marketing director Alex Thomas and aftersales director Ganesh Jawahar.
A dedicated electric vehicle department has also been established to build on the success of the Outlander PHEV launched in 2013.
The automaker has promised to sell more electrified SUV models in Europe.
