The automaker now has three assembly plants with combined annual production capacity of 800,000 units.

The 10 millionth unit was a blue Sentra SR built in the Aguascalientes A1 Plant for sale in Toluca, Mexico.

Nissan last year produced 805,871 vehicles in México, up 18.47% year on year. It aims to build 1m cars a year eventually.

Nissan Mexicana built its first 5m units by 2006. It has 14,500 employees country wide.

The 2015 output goal is over 820,000 units.
