Villanueva outlined the popularity of Mitsubishi’s Space Star, Outlander, Montero Limited and Montero Sport among female customers.
Mitsubishi Motors’ authorised dealers in Mexico are expected to rise to 50 in 2004, up from the current 26.
The positive projections were expressed despite the decline which the motor industry experienced in the first month of 2004. Vehicle production in January 2004 fell 17% year-on-year to 116,607 units, while car exports dropped 17.7% for the period.
