Ford’s Director of Public Relations (Mexico) said Focus 2000 model components set to be replaced in a recall announced earlier this week have no safety functions, writes Reforma/Infolatina (20/10/00).

Antonio Garcia Sobrino said that the reason behind the recall and replacement was to improve the attributes of the Ford Focus vehicles.
