Japanese automaker Mazda Motor Corporation reported a 5.5% decline in global vehicle production to 109,406 units in October 2025, down from 115,812 units in the same month last year. Production in Japan increased by 1.2% to 69,506 units, driven higher by a 17% increase in CX-5 output to 27,214 units, an 11% increase in Mazda 3 production to 12,222 units, and a 33% jump in CX-30 volumes to 10,101 units.

Overseas vehicle production declined by over 15% to 39,900 units in October, reflecting mainly a 37% plunge in CX-30 output to 8,613 units, while overall exports from Japan increased by 2.5% to 59,128units.

In the first ten months of 2025, Mazda produced 962,117vehicles globally, down by almost 5% compared with 1,010,058 units in the same period last year. Domestic output declined by almost 6% to 592,578 units, while overseas production fell by 3.4% to 369,539 units.

Global sales fell by 1.4% to 1,038,757units in the January-October period, with sales in Japan rising by 8% to 128,131units, while overseas sales fell by 2.8% to 910,626 units. US sales were 1.7% lower at 344,824 units, while in Europe sales fell by 12% to 130,097 units, China 55,365 units (-15%), and other markets 380,340 units (+22%).
