Malaysia’s new motor vehicle sales forecast for this year has been raised 4% to 520,000 units, the Malaysian Automotive Association (MAA) told Reuters on Tuesday.
The industry body, which in January expected sales to grow by 2.5% to 500,000 units this year, said new vehicle sales for the first half of 2005 jumped 14.3% to 260,843 units from the same period last year, the report said.
