Malaysia’s Proton Holdings plans to overhaul the domestic sales and aftersales network of its local distributor Proton Edar in order to provide a better network coverage and improve performance.
Proton has a network of 413 sales and service outlets in the country and the company is looking to add new 3S (sales, service, spare parts) dealers to improve its market performance.
While Proton Edar has posted an advertisemtn to attract new third party investors, the network will be remapped also as a result of the closure of some inefficient dealers.
