Toyota’s premium car division, Lexus, unveiled its new IS sports sedan, which is scheduled to go on sale in key world markets from early 2026. The company says the new model comes with significant refinements in terms of performance and design. Lexus has sold around 1.3 million units of the IS model since it was first launched in 1999, in over 40 markets worldwide.
Lexus pointed out that the IS’s exterior has been updated with a new front fascia design that “accentuates the model’s low centre of gravity and wide stance, reinforcing its bold, commanding presence. The ‘F Sports’ model adds to the car’s dynamic appeal with a newly designed rear spoiler that improves aerodynamic performance.”
