London EV Company (LEVC) has selected EO Charging as its partner in Scotland to install Smart Home Charge Points.
LEVC owners will be offered an EO Mini Pro electric vehicle charger. Designed and manufactured in the UK, the EO Mini Pro is OLEV approved – allowing electric taxi drivers to claim the UK government funded Electric Vehicle Homecharge Scheme – reducing the cost of installing a charger by up to 75%.

The partnership with EO Charging follows the launch of LEVC’s first dealership in Glasgow.
LEVC recently celebrated the production of the 2,500th TX electric taxi, of which 65 are currently operating across Scotland.
“Scotland introduced its first low-emission zone (LEZ) in Glasgow last year, a clear indication of the country’s commitment to reducing congestion and improving air quality,” said EO Charging head of commercial sales, Ryan Spillane.
“With plans being drawn up for low-emission zones in Edinburgh, Dundee and Aberdeen – taxi and commercial vehicle drivers need to think carefully about the next vehicle they purchase.
“To support LEVC’s ambitions in Scotland, we’ve developed a network of EO trained and OLEV approved installers that will support new and existing TX owners with the installation of smart electric vehicle chargers.”
EO Charging has developed a range of EV chargers to support the fleet and private hire industry in switching to plug-in vehicles.
To date, EO has secured partnerships with Uber, Addison Lee, Sainsbury’s Online and Gnewt Cargo, operators of London’s largest fully electric final-mile delivery fleet.
