Key Safety Systems (KSS) has appointed Steve McKenzie to the position of vice president, Global Manufacturing.
McKenzie arrives at KSS with more than 30 years of global automotive, lean manufacturing and Toyota Production System experience, serving in senior operational assignments with ITT Automotive, Alcoa, Siemens, Meridian and Chassix.

. Airbags – knee, adaptive passenger, pelvis-thorax, driver.
. Inflators – with a focus on reduced flammability, particluates and effluents.
. Seatbelts and buckles.
. Steering wheels – heated and solid and shell wood technology. KSS formerly owned the Momo brand of steering wheels, but sold the brand (while retaining Momo’s facilties and technical capabilities) to Italian private equity investors in 2006.
. Speciality business – military and off-highway products.
