We’re taking a long weekend in the UK – we get Monday 6th May off as a national holiday. It’s the ‘May Day’ holiday, which – in Britain – is taken on the Monday following the 1st (if the 1st does not fall on a Monday).

And breathe. Time for us to lift our eyes from screens and stretch our legs (and wheels) in the great outdoors, traffic jams permitting (May day ‘parade’ for us often involves tarmac, stationary metal and frazzled families – but we’re very used to it). Might also be time to get out the BBQ.
