JAPAN: VW receives 1,700 orders for Touareg in ’04 to September
The Japanese News Digest reports that Volkswagen Group Japan K.K., VW’s Japanese unit, has received 1,700 orders for its Touareg luxury sports utility vehicle (SUV) in the period January to September 2004.
The Japanese News Digest reports that Volkswagen Group Japan K.K., VW’s Japanese unit, has received 1,700 orders for its Touareg luxury sports utility vehicle (SUV) in the period January to September 2004.
The figure exceeded the initial VGJ 2004 Touareg sales target of 1,500 units. The company was prompted to revise its 2004 Touareg sales forecasts to 2,500 units.
The Touareg was introduced in Japan in September 2003.
