JAPAN: Vehicle export value up, production down in April
Japan's vehicle exports rose 2.1% in April from a year earlier to 398,700 vehicles, while vehicle production in the country dropped 0.4%, the Japan Automobile Manufacturers Association reported. At $US8.34 billion, vehicle exports for April were up 14.0% year on year but production fell to 774,261 vehicles.
