Toyota suspended production at its 12 assembly plants in Aichi Prefecture from late Tuesday afternoon to midnight due to safety concerns, while Honda suspended car production at its Suzuka plant in Mie Prefecture on Tuesday. However, production at all the plants was resumed as usual Wednesday morning, Kyodo said.
