Toyota Motor will boost domestic production for the April to September 2013 period by about 10% from initial plans, as it sees steady domestic sales and strong overseas demand amid depreciation of the yen, reported the Japan Times, citing anonymous sources.

The sources said Toyota had already revised upward its domestic daily production for April and May by around 10% from the earlier projection to 13,000 units, and was likely to maintain output at that level over the coming four months. Production from January to September is likely to reach 2.5m units, up 200,000 from earlier forecasts.
