Toyota Boshoku Corporation based in Kariya-city, Aichi, Japan, is establishing “Toyota Boshoku Europe Corporation” with headquarters in Brussells, Belgium, also home to Toyota Motor Europe.

In a statement, Toyota Boshoku said the Belgian office would give it a “strategic stronghold in Europe” and would conduct research, marketing data collection related to design and development planning, as well as procurement and production management functions.
“At the moment we are striving to strengthen marketing and procurement functions, as well as collaborate with Toyota Motor Engineering & Manufacturing Europe,” the statement added.
Toyota Boshoku produces seat covers in Slovakia, filters and engine instrument parts in Poland, and seats and doors in Turkey.
In 2006 it plans to start making replacement bumpers in France.
