Tachi-S plans to build four new seat cover plants by fiscal year 2014 in response to rising production by automakers, especially in emerging countries, the Nikkei reported.
Tachi-S plans to build four new seat cover plants by fiscal year 2014 in response to rising production by automakers, especially in emerging countries, the Nikkei reported.
The supplier will build seat cover plants in Wuhan and Dalian in China, giving it four plants in China. Combined investment is projected at JPY800m. Operations are slated to commence in 2014. Annual production capacity will be 400,000 units at Wuhan and 200,000 at Dalian.
