Stanley Electric says it has developed an Adaptive Driving Beam (ADB) headlamp that improves night-time driving safety and security.
“More people are killed when crossing the road at night-time than in the daytime,” says a Stanley Electric statement.

“ADB enables the driver to detect the pedestrians and signs earlier without dazzling other drivers in a car ahead or an oncoming car.
“Therefore, this system provides safe visibility at night to drivers. We expect traffic accidents at night would be decreased by [the] ADB headlamp.”
