Honda Motor has restarted production of component parts in Japan affected by the earthquake and subsequent tsunami.
The company said production of parts for vehicle assembly in regions outside Japan had restarted.
The Saitama and Suzuka car factories will resume production at 50% of the original production plan on 11 April.
Production of motorcycles and power products recommenced in Japan on 28 March.
