Nissan is expanding its global commercial vehicle sales and service network as it looks to double worldwide sales to 2m units by fiscal 2016.
The automaker plans to increase the number of passenger car dealerships certified to provide specialised sales and service for such products as large vans and pickup trucks. The sites will have personnel with commercial vehicle experience and be equipped to repair large vehicles.

Nissan plans to target South Africa, China and other emerging markets. In China it intends to have 900 commercial vehicle dealerships by 2015, an increase of 30%.
Expanding sales of commercial vehicles is key to Nissan’s goal to sell 7.6m vehicles globally in fiscal 2016, up nearly 60%.
