Specifics about the proposed cooperation will be worked out after Renault completes negotiations with its workforce, Ghosn added.
The report suggests that Renault is looking for an additional 80,000 units a year in production support from tie-up partners. As well as Alliance partner Nissan, Daimler is also expected to participate, the report suggests.
The report added that Nissan will work out the specifics after Renault completes talks with labour unions, currently nearing agreement.
