Mitsubishi Motors Corp. announced Thursday (7/9/00) another recall of fuel caps it recalled only two weeks earlier, says Associated Press (7/9/00).
The initial recall – in August – involved fuel caps on 45,000 minicab trucks that would not close resulting in possible leaks. This second recall involving the trucks – sold only in Japan – was necessary as exchanging the caps did not solve the problem, says AP.
