Images of the new Mazda3 sedan, to be once again called Axela sedan in the Japanese market, have been revealed.
The car is likely to be especially popular in the US, as well as in Australia – the Mazda3 was the best selling vehicle in the million+ Aussie market during 2012 and 2011, with the sedan body style favoured by a large number of buyers there.

Mazda, which recently announced the new hatchback, is yet to release full specifications for the sedan. What is known, is that a petrol-electric powertrain will be available for the first time, at least in the Japanese market: the Axela Hybrid is due to be announced imminently.
