JAPAN: Mazda bumps up global sales forecast – report
Mazda Motor, the smallest of Japan's top five car makers, said on Thursday it expected to sell 245,000 cars in Europe this business year, raising its outlook from 239,000 units forecast in July, Reuters reported.

Global sales for the year to March 31 are seen at 1.06 million vehicles, higher than the 1.053 million previously forecast.
Mazda, one-third owned by Ford, has, however, lowered its projection for North American sales for the year to 330,000 units from 335,000 and for Japan to 294,000 from 299,000, Reuters noted, adding that it bumped up its forecast for sales in other regions to 191,000 from 180,000.
