Isuzu Motors has established a new after sales centre (ASC) in Singapore, within its Isuzu Motors Asia unit, to support sales in ASEAN countries. It set up a regional ASC in Dubai in June 2010.
The ASC has been set up to help local distributors and minimise service downtime for the growing number of the truckmaker’s vehicles in the region, Isuzu said in a statement.

It has also set up a new parts centre in Johor, Malaysia, which stocks 30,000 service part lines for distribtution to ASEAN countries.
The Sigapore ASC will oversee local marketing, sales, distribution and parts distribution planning. It will also will support and work with local distributors to encourage owners to have trucks serviced by official dealers and develop local workers’ skills through offering workshops and onsite training.
