Nissan, also rumoured to heading for a full year operating loss, is expected to issue a profit warning.


Reuters reports that Honda’s forecasts could be cut back again following further production cutbacks at home and overseas.


All three big players are said to be heading for third quarter loss.


Many analysts have also lowered their projections for next business year on new forecasts for depressed sales across the ‘triad’ markets of Japan, Western Europe and North America.


Reuters said that Nissan is seen swinging to a third-quarter loss of 81.7 billion yen, paving the way for its first annual operating loss in 14 years.
