Sales of new imported vehicles in Japan fell again in July, the 15th month in a row the sector has declined.

The volume of imports vehicles, including those made by Japanese automakers overseas, dropped 16.1% to 13,842 units, the Japan Automobile Importers Association said.
Sales of foreign brand vehicles fell 13.8% to 12,307 units. Volkswagen was top of the list with 3,083 units sold, down 13.4%.
BMW was second with 2,019 units, down 18.2%. Mercedes-Benz was third (1,964 units, down 24.4%).
