Honda Motor will restart production at its flooded Thai plant on 26 March, media reports said.
The move would make Honda the last of Japan’s major automakers to return to regular production at their Thai plants, broadcaster NHK was cited as saying by Dow Jones Newswires.

Output at the plant, with capacity of 240,000 vehicles a year, was stopped in October as a result of flooding in Thailand that left the plant in up to 2m of water at one point, the report said.
Photos at the time showed finished cars floating in floodwaters though employees reportedly saved some by parking them on elevated roads near the factory
Honda’s Thai unit issued a statement in January indicating it planned to resume production at the Ayutthaya assembly plant by the end of March. The automaker builds key models such as the Brio hatchback and City sedan there.
Other reports said the Thai engine plant would be back in production in May.
