JAPAN: Honda Accord beats monthly sales target in first three weeks
Honda’s redesigned Accord beat its monthly sales target by 1,000 units in its first three weeks on sale in Japan, reports said. Dealers took 6,000 orders for a car targeted at 5,000 sales a month when launched on October 11. The Japanese-market Honda is narrower with different styling than the model sold in the US. Sales of the ‘narrow’ Accord start in Europe early in 2003.
