The drawings, along with the first clay model of the vehicle, were revealed in an exhibition at the Tokyo Museum of Contemporary Art, dedicated to Maserati and sister company Ferrari.
Entitled “Artedinamica”, the exhibition featured several displays from the past and present of the two Italian marques. The exhibition highlighted how the two companies are characterised by the beauty of the styling of their products and their high levels of technological excellence.
Philip Mills, Operations Director of Maserati UK, said: “These drawings offer just a hint of the stunning beauty of the new Quattroporte which will go on sale in just over 18 months and which will bring the Maserati brand within the reach of a whole new group of potential customers.”
The new Maserati Quattroporte is scheduled to make its public debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show in Germany in September next year.
