Denso Corporation has announced that its Denso Airs Corp. subsidiary has set up a new company in the Czech Republic for producing car air conditioner piping.

Airs Manufacturing Czech s.r.o will start construction of a plant in the current business year to March 2003 and launch production in late 2003.
Denso says that the move is aimed at meeting Denso’s plans for the increased production of car air conditioners in Europe.
The new company is capitalised at some 500 million yen and a total of about 800 million yen was invested in the company.
It is planned that Airs Manufacturing Czech will have a workforce totalling some 220 by March 2006.
