The 3,200-cc version of the four-door, five-passenger sedan costs 5.95 million Japanese yen ($US50,350/46,630 euro). General Motors Corp has already sold over 30,000 units of the Cadillac CTS worldwide.
The report noted that the Cadillac CTS was introduced in North America in February 2002 and the company expects to sell over 40,000 units on the global market in 2003. General Motors also expects to sell more than 400 CTS models in Japan a year, Rajeev Chaba, director of marketing for General Motors Japan said.
