Pirelli & C SpA, holding company for tyre and property businesses using the same name, has posted first quarter net profits of EUR1.1m on revenues of EUR1.04bn.
EBIT was EUR46.8m. Tyre unit revenues totalled EUR926.9m.
In a statement, the company said the Q1 results were in line with 2009-11 industrial plan and forecast 2009 revenues at around EUR4.3bn and margin of 4.5-5.0%.
