Coachbuilder and contract assembler Pininfarina’s sales and service revenue for the year ended 31 December 2013 was EUR69.1m (US$95.3m), up 11% year on year.

The pre-tax loss was EUR9.11m compared to a profit of EUR32.8m a year ago. Operating loss was EUR9.22m compared with profit of EUR32.8m in 2012. Net loss was EUR10.4m compared with a EUR33m profit the previous year.

2014 outlook

Pininifarina expects revenue flat versus 2013 and “positive” EBIT.

But it expects its net financial position at the end of 2014 to deteriorate compared with 2013 due mainly to working capital issues and additional one-off amortisation costs.
