Fiat sold 52,660 Lancia, Alfa Romeo and Fiat-brand cars in April, compared with 60,231 vehicles in the same month the previous year, the Transport Ministry said, according to Bloomberg News. Fiat’s market share dropped to 28.8% from 31% in April of 2002.
Turin, Italy-based Fiat is reorganising after a record $4.4 billion loss last year, the report said.
