Iranian automaker IKCO says it is looking to establish what it refers to as “business associates” to act as distributors as the manufacturer aims to penetrate into the Far East.
Founded in 1977, IKCO’s spare parts and after sale services company ISACO’s main work has been Iran-based, but the company is looking particularly to neighbouring Iraq as well as to emerging markets in East Asia and China.

“With more than 30 years of experience in the field of automobile spare parts, ISACO has the potential to capture a sizeable share of re-export markets in MENA [Middle East and North Africa] and CIS [Commonwealth of Independent States] countries,” said a statement sent to just-auto from IKCO.
“It is also determined to penetrate in new emerging markets in East Asia, including China. As such, the company is looking for business associates around the globe to act as distributors.”
ISACO is a commercial and service company which supplies automotive parts and services, a dealer and service network, parts sourcing and warranty sales for all vehicles manufactured by Iran Khodro.
IKCO has set up a significant after sales operation in Iraq, where it provides service to the cities of Najaf, Baghdad, Dahuk and Karbala.
