Iranian automaker IKCO is readying a new Peugeot-based pickup truck.

The new model, built on the Peugeot 405 platform will go into production in the first quarter of 2013 with a new version of the 1.7-litre CNG-fueled OHVG2 engine which meets Euro IV emissions standards.

A spacious cabin, air conditioner, power steering and ABS will be some of the features of the new pickup. IKCO plans to build 30,000 in 2013.
