Indonesia’s Suzuki Indomobil Motor officially inaugurated a new vehicle assembly plant in Cikarang, West Java, at the end of May.
The company has invested close to USD1bn in the plant, which includes engine and transmission assembly lines as well as full vehicle production. It has a production capacity of 106,000 built-up vehicles per year, making it the largest of Suzuki’s three vehicle (four-wheeler) plants in Indonesia.
