Suzuki is to spend around JPY100bn (US$1.02bn) to add passenger car production in Indonesia.

The factory, scheduled for completion next year 2014, will assemble the Wagon R for Southeast Asian markets. This will increase Suzuki’s annual production capacity in Indonesia up from 150,000 cars to 200,000 cars, with further expansion a possibility some time in the future.
