PT Astra International on Thursday said its motor cycle sales dropped 0.7% to 150,065 in February from 151,154 in January.

According to Dow Jones, Astra, which makes motor cycles with Honda, said that sales reached 301,219 during the first two months of the year, meaning it captured nearly 54% of the domestic motor cycle market.
The report noted that motor cycle sales have been booming in Indonesia in recent years amid falling interest rates and that Singapore’s Jardine Cycle & Carriage Ltd. owns a 37% stake in Astra.
