The report noted that the Thai government is keen to retain its leadership position in the pick-up truck business, and is targeting an annual output of 700,000 units of one-tonne pick-up trucks by 2006 from 229,000 units manufactured last year.
Tata Motors’ 207 pick-up might be introduced in Thailand, the newspaper said.
